Fall in NH: it don't get any better than this!
One of my favorite evenings each year is this one. My friends Bob, Wini, Al and Walter play bluegrass music as "Cordwood," a fabulous roots band and I get to tell stories between songs. We have FUN! Proceeds go to the Friends of the Northwood Libraries. Hope to see a full hall of enthusiastic toe tappers and hearty laughers. Good old-fashioned entertainment in a beautiful venue.
Fred Marple and I had a blast in Tamworth at the Barnstormers. Pretty sure the full house topped the population of Frost Heaves, the little slice of heaven Fred calls home (right next door to the town of Bump). Stories, songs, laughter -- doesn't get much better than that. Also, I got to wear my new hand-me-down overalls. Wicked good night.
